Deadline reports that HBO will launch its own video streaming service on October 15.
HBO Go will be available in the US and Canada, and HBO is also launching a subscription-based streaming service, HBO NOW, on November 4.
HBO is reportedly looking to raise $100 million in a public offering to take advantage of a booming market.
The network is also planning to build an app for its subscribers to access HBO Go’s streaming service.
HBO will use its existing video service to launch HBO Go and HBO NOW.
HBO Now will be free for HBO subscribers, but it will cost HBO subscribers $9.99 a month to access the streaming service as of September 30.
The service will also allow HBO subscribers to watch HBO content, including its original series.
HBO’s new video service will be able to stream HBO content without an HBO subscription.
HBO has long been known for its high-end video services, but the company is moving toward becoming a streaming company.
