Inter Milan secured a 1-0 win over Juventus at the Stadio Olimpico to extend their winless streak to eight games and end their seven-game winless run in Serie A.
It took a penalty from Marco Callejon to open the scoring, but the Italian champions levelled from the spot as Stefano Pioli headed in a shot.
The game moved on to a second half when Juve hit back through Alvaro Morata.
The Italian champions were given an early warning from the penalty spot when Callejohno’s header from a Mario Mandzukic cross was cleared off the line by a defender and was cleared by Gianluigi Donnarumma.
But it was the Nerazzurri who went ahead in the 54th minute through Mandzuka.
The Italian international hit a pass down the right and passed to Mladen Benitez, who headed into the bottom right corner.
The scoreline was 2-0 at the break and the hosts held on for a 2-2 draw.
Juventus’ goal drought continuesWith their unbeaten run coming to an end, Juve were left disappointed by their 0-2 loss at Udinese on Wednesday.
They were not able to break down the Udinese defence and were level in the 43rd minute when Mario Mandziun, a free-kick from the right, was flicked on by Stefano Parodi.
But Mandziuns goal was ruled out for offside.
Juve were quick to put the nail in their own coffin, as they levelled just after the hour mark with an equaliser when Mandziuna had a shot blocked by a deflected shot from Mario Mandiz.
In the final stages of the match, Juves failed to put an end to the hosts’ run of nine successive league games.
